German pancakes are a staple food in German cuisine and has always accompanied through my childhood. Serve it with apple sauce and a cinnamon sugar mix.

In a bowl mix all ingredients together until you have smooth batter.

Heat a large skillet or griddle and add some oil. Pour batter in. Tilt pan to achieve a round shape. Heat until golden, then flip and brown on the other side. Serve with your choice of topping but apple sauce or sugar with cinnamon is the classic northern German version.
