Bibimbap (비빔밥) is a Korean mixed rice dish. You typically serve these in a normal mixing bowl or in a hot stone bowl (dolsot bibimbap).

Soak the dried shiitake mushroom 10 min in warm water.

Cook the rice.

Cut zucchini, carrots, champignons, salad and shiitake separately in long thin stripes.

Cut and mince the garlic cloves. Add garlic, salt&pepper to the minced meat,mix.

Add 2 tbsp oil to the pan. Using that one pan, cook the zucchini,carrots, champignon, shiitake and meat separately in stages around 1 min each (3 min for the meat). Season with salt to your liking. Put the side dishes aside.

Add oil to 4 cast iron skillets. Add the cooked rice. Assemble the side dishes on top.Add an egg on top (or fry separately). Finally sprinkle sesame oil and seeds on top. Cook around 5 min over medium high heat to get the rice golden brown and crispy. PAN ALTERNATIVE:only cook the rice crispy in a pan and than assort your food in 4 separate bowls (don't destroy your pan).

Eat directly from the cast iron skillet or transfer the food if you used a pan. Serve with Korean gochujang sauce and mix everything up before eating.
